Frequenty Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

It is completely complimentary to our customers and is included at no cost whatsoever.

What do I have to do to maintain my Lifetime Powertrain Warranty?
Simply follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule.

Do I have to bring it to Wood City Chrysler for service?
Bringing your vehicle to Wood City Chrysler will provide you the best care for your vehicle and the best record keeping. The professionals at  Wood City Chrysler know exactly what needs to be done to maintain your Lifetime Powertrain warranty. You can, however, bring it elsewhere. Just be sure to have all factory recommended maintenance performed at the recommended intervals and keep good records.

Can I get a lower price if I don't want the Lifetime Warranty?
The Warranty comes with the car and we are legally prohibited from removing it. So even if you don't want or see value in the warranty you will get it and the price will remain the same.

Can I purchase a Lifetime Warranty for my other vehicles?
Unfortunately the warranty only comes with the vehicle at time of sale. The only way to get the warranty is to buy a vehicle.

Is the Lifetime Powertrain or the Wrap transferable?
No, they are not transferable to another owner of the vehicle.

Can I cancel the Lifetime Powertrain?
Because you didn't purchase the Lifetime Powertrain there is no cancellation and no refunds of any type.

Can I cancel the Lifetime Wrap?
Yes, for the purposes of calculating a refund the Lifetime Wrap utilizes 7 years or 100,000 miles as the total term. After you've had it for 7 years or 100,000 miles no refund would be available.

Can a Lifetime Wrap be purchased on a vehicle that doesn't carry the underlying Lifetime Powertrain Warranty?
No the Lifetime Wrap is only available in conjunction with a vehicle covered by Lifetime Powertrain Warranty.

Can other terms of service contracts be purchased to go along with a vehicle that carries the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty?
Yes, all the normal terms are available. If a customer isn't sure how long they will keep the vehicle or has budget restrictions they can purchase shorter term wrap coverage and once that coverage has expired their Limited Lifetime Powertrain Warranty would still be in effect.

During the 6 months to 5 year period if I can't get to Wood City Chrysler is there a way to have a disappearing deductible?

No, your deductible would be $100 when service is performed at a non-Wood City Chrysler facility.

If I have two things wrong with my vehicle at once could I end up paying two deductibles?
No, the deductibles are per visit, not per repair.

When will my Lifetime Powertrain Warranty end?
When you sell or trade your vehicle. When an individual claim meets or exceeds the fair market value of the vehicle at the time of claim. Or when the total amount paid for all claims under the warranty exceeds the purchase price of the vehicle.
